Hey Nafoosi, I heard you got less than 1% of the vote. How many times have you been a delegate? 0? You didn't even have the savy to go get yourself elected delegate. Maybe you would have hit 1.2% if you had.

What was really distrspectful was Nafoosi's goon throwing a bow tie on the stage, talk smack about Springmeyer, and then dis our party officers we, the delegates, elected.

The rules were changed again after the game started...The agenda clearly stated that Lt. Gov would be picked after the Governor but when you are the party candidate rules are made to be changed for the benefit of the party...Congrats Wayne Holland on winning the battle now comes the war ...too bad you cannt change those rules

AGnes, I'm not whining, (it's hard to read emotion over a computer screen) and I realize that all of the candidates could have done the same thing, but they didn't, and the way the whole thing was worded seemed a little disrespectful of the other candidates.

I understand that an apology has been made to Matt Frandson, and that Bob Springmeyer intends on speaking to him more about some of his ideas.

'Gater, my wife mentioned the same thing just as Springmeyer made his nomination. We felt it was in poor taste.

All the governor candidates could have done the same. Josie's nomination was to be Springmeyer's Lt. Gov. if he was nominated.

There is always a whiner.

Derek- will you delete my duplicate post (the first one).

What did you think about the nominating of Josie Valdez before the voting was even done for the candidate for gov?

(Had it only been Bob Springmeyer vs the-one-I-find-infuriatingly-arrogant, it wouldn’t have bothered me so much, but I still thought it was inappropriate.)

I LOVE Jean Welch Hill. I think she is amazing, very impressive...

I also like Morgan Bowen, maybe it's the seminary teacher training, but he knows how to talk to people, he seems genuine, which I appreciate in a "politician".

I too am very impressed with Bowen. I looked over his resume and find myself agreeing with much of what he says. I would like to believe he has a shot here, but have seen too often how easy it is for a Republican incumbent in Utah to get re-elected. I went to school with a couple of Rob Bishop's kids, but just don't feel he is who I want representing the district.

Good luck with your projects over the summer. I am actually somewhat glad you're backing off for awhile, as this summer will be important to my business and the fewer things I have to distract myself with, the better. I'll check in every now and then, and look forward to the big posts you mentioned down the road.

I'm glad you mentioned Kyle. Him and I will be walking the streets as we campaign for change in the Legislature. Kyle has a shot as do I.
Change is in the air and just as Chairman Holland said, we will be a "purple" state.
