Jill Rauhn criticizes the World Bank

Jill Rauhn, a member of The Center for Concern, a Jesuit Catholic organization for social activism, is concerned about the disingenuous and unethical nature of the World Bank and other global financial institutions. Read her article, A Fox in the Henhouse.

    Indirectly related, but worth mentioning, is Hans Rosling’s talk on global poverty at TED: http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/view/id/140

    He steers away from hot buttons of causality, but it’s still nice to see a bit of positive energy about the global fight against poverty.
