One of my favorite quasi-Christmas songs, particularly in light of the last few years. It was fun to find the video recently. Rather poignant.

My favorites are Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, and currently most all of the songs on the Sarah McLachlin Wintersong CD. 🙂
Those are Christmas songs. I’m talking about quasi-Christmas songs.
(Some of the songs on the CD are less christmassy than others)
I may have to re-listen to Stop the Calvary. 🙂 First listen it wasn’t really something that “spoke” to me. 🙂
Everyone reacts differently; not everyone needs to love it. The heartfelt desire of the “everyman” soldier to leave the archetypical war and simply be with the family he loves really touched me.
